 Open-type joint-stock company “Mashinostroitelny Zavod” (OAO MSZ) is one of the biggest industrial enterprises in Russia. is incorporated into the structure of the RF Federal Agency for Nuclear Power and is one of the major manufacturers and suppliers of nuclear fuel to the international market. The company produces nuclear fuel for research reactors and marine fleet.
Quality objectives, consistent environmental policy and a 50-year experience in the fabrication of fuel rods and fuel assemblies for nuclear power reactors have significantly strengthened and ensured strong position of OAO MSZ in both domestic and international markets.
Nuclear fuel manufactured by OAO MSZ is safely operating in nuclear power plants located in Russia, Armenia, Hungary, Germany, Netherlands, Lithuania, Slovakia, Ukraine, Finland, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Sweden. Nuclear fuel from MSZ is operating in 57 commercial power reactors, i.e. in every 8th reactor on the globe.
Sophisticated and comprehensive products require enhanced reliability. OAO MSZ was one of the first enterprises in Russia to implement and certify quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001 international standard requirements and environmental management system based on ISO 14001.
