Born in 1959 in Tver. After graduating from the Moscow Institute of Steels and Alloys (MISiS) in 1981 he joined OAO “Mashinostroitelny Zavod”, Elektrostal.

In 1990 appointed Head of the department.

During 1991-1997 he was the head of “Economic Research Center”.

During 1997 – 2001 – General Director of “Elemash” firm.

In 2001 he was appointed Commercial Director of OAO “Mashinostroitelny Zavod”.
