One of the key objectives stated by the social policy of OAO MSZ is the prevention of the skilled manpower drain by means of improving life conditions of the employees. Solving the “housing” problem might be one of the ways to keep young and great-potential workers interested in working at OAO “MSZ”.
OAO “Mashinostroitelny Zavod” has developed the “Regulations for purchasing houses and apartments by the company employees”.
The employees can improve their living conditions through interest-free loans granted by the company for buying a house or apartment in the existing housing market with a 15-year payment period.
In 2004, 56 interest-free housing loans were granted to the employees of OAO “MSZ” for buying apartments in the existing housing market.
Besides, the company invests money in housing construction and sells apartments in the new-built houses. The amount of capital investments is determined with regard to the demand for the construction of new apartments among employees. The construction of two apartment buildings, 100 apartments each, is planned during the next two years and the company employees will be able to buy new apartments with the loan payment period of up to 15 years.
In 2004 a new monolithic apartment building was commissioned and 77 families bought new apartments by installments. The total amount of loans granted in 2004 made 53,1 million roubles. |
