Vladimir V. Bahtin

Born in 1945 in Elektrostal. Graduated from technical school and Institute of Mechanical Engineering. Since 1965 has been working at OAO “Mashinostroitelny Zavod”. Worked as a QC inspector, machine operator, foreman, head of the workshop. In 1980 – 1985 held the position of Deputy Head of the town administration of Elektrostal. Since 1985 has been the head of OAO MSZ trade union organization.

Granted the status of the “Honorary member of nuclear power engineering and industry”.

Trade union organization

The history of the trade union organization of OAO MSZ goes back to the time of company foundation. The trade union of OAO MSZ consolidates 19711 members, 11283 out of them are company employees. The present-day trade union organization of OAO MSZ is one of the biggest unions in the industry generously sharing its wide experience with many other trade union partners in Russia.

The trade union organization of OAO MSZ is a member of the RF trade union consolidating trade unions throughout nuclear industry.

Trade union committee of OAO MSZ consists of 35 regular members, 15 chairpersons of standing commissions and 2 chairmen of workshop trade unions.

Trade union organization is involved in the process of elaborating the Corporate Code (Labor Contract) of OAO MSZ in cooperation with MSZ leadership, conducts conferences with the purpose of approving this contract and supervises over the implementation of the approved Labor Contract.

According to the decision made by the trilateral committee for handling labor relations, the Labor Contract for the year 2003 was declared the best one and won the prize of the Regional Contest “Labor contract, production efficiency as a basis for protection of employees’ rights”.

Trade union representatives and industrial committees conduct on-site inspections with the purpose of checking the observance of safety engineering rules and labor safety, participate in the development of health-improving measures.
