 An official meeting between the AREVA NP representatives and the JSC MSZ executives and staff members was held recently in Elektrostal, Moscow region. The AREVA NP delegation included Coban I. (Director for nuclear fuel), Schumm G. (Head of the financial department), Hoffmann P. (Sales department), Kiessling W. (Project manager), Reichenbach D. (Head of AREVA NP, Moscow) and Maslyaev I. (Project manager). JSC MSZ was presented by Krykov O. (Director General), Galkin V. (Production Director), Gasilov A. (Marketing Director), Sedelnikov O. (Director for Capital Construction and Reconstruction) and the basic works representatives, involved in the project.
The parties summarized their combined performance in the fuel production sector and discussed the prospects of future cooperation till 2020.
In the context of a decade-long cooperation with JSC MSZ, AREVA NP was pleased to be able to speak of high production quality, proper observance of works procedures and top qualification level of the JSC MSZ staff members. Since the time when the first MSZ fabricated FA ran abroad, there was not a single case of failure reported due to fuel quality. The companies have already contracted on production of nuclear fuel for a number of NPP in Europe till up to 2020. It was the only proposal of AREVA NP that is to remain in keeping with high quality product approach that will provide further cooperation between AREVA NP and JSC MSZ.
