 The Czech Republic ambassador, Miroslav Kostelka, paid his first visit to JSC Mashinostroitelny Zavod, December 23, 2006, to get acquainted with the VVER-440 nuclear fuel production for the NPPs of the Czech Republic. The high-ranking guest was accompanied by Boguslav Streits (counselor, head of the trade and economic department), Plashin V. (AO Alta President), Konstantinov V., Peshkov P. (JSC TVEL), Petrov I. (JSC MSZ Technical Director), Galkin V. (JSC MSZ Production Director) and other production managers.
The delegation visited the facilities producing the fuel for Dukovany NPP, including the VVER-440 FA automatic line and the assembly site. Concluding the visit, Miroslav Kostelka said: "excellent product quality, matching world standards, good job, everything’s under control, much work, deep impression”. The ambassador, also, wished good luck to the partners and expressed his confidence that the Temelin NPP fuel would, also, be of a very high quality.
