On the 31^st of October the Board of Directors of OAO Mashinostroitelny Zavod held a meeting which acknowledged the satisfactory performance of the plant upon the results of 9 months, 2007. Volume of sales made up 5772 million rubles. This was 2% higher than the planned performance. Costs per ruble of the products sold were 80,1 kopecks (as to the plan – 81,0 kopecks). The plant received 430 million rubles of the net profit.

The Board of Directors unanimously voted to the program of the plant development till 2020. Giving comments to the program accepted the Chairman of the Board of Directors, first Vice-President of  OAO TVEL Vladimir Rozhdestvensky, expressed his confidence in the program’s ability to succeed. “To do it the plant has all the capabilities and in particular 90-year experience in operation.”

Vladimir Rozhdestvensky emphasized that that was only the start on the way to go on which the fuel fabrication conditions and the plant’s look being a living mechanism would change. He assigned two tasks for the first stage: “separating the fuel-directly-connected productions and reorganizing the auxiliary productions in the associated companies”. The work of the above associated companies to support the fuel manufacturers will be paid at the market prices.

The new look of the plant has been agreed upon with Andrey Suchanov, the Head of the town district of Electrostal, with the trade union of the plant and approved by the top management of OAO TVEL.
