- development and implementation of state-of-the art technologies, equipment, methods, materials, substances;
- fabrication of samples, dummies, mock-ups, pilot products and components based on the experimental facilities available in the Central Research laboratory of the plant;
- performance of transportation, strength, vibration, thermal hydraulics and corrosion testing of pilot and standard products;
- scientific and technical support of the product fabrication process;
- improvement of technologies, equipment and inspection methods aimed at enhancing production efficiency and reducing manufacturing costs.
