CORPORATE INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (CIMS)

JSC MSZ has established and implemented the Corporate Integrated Management System (CIMS) that is consistently maintained and improved under JSC TVEL control. The CIMS conforms to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 50001:2018 requirements and comprises the Corporate Quality Management System (CQMS), the Corporate Environmental Management System (CEMS), the Corporate Occupational Health and Safety Management System (COHSMS), and the Corporate Energy Management System (CEnMS).

· JSC MSZ has been applying CQMS since 2007.

· JSC MSZ has been applying CEMS since 2010 (initial certification of JSC MSZ’s Environmental Management System (EMS) was performed in 2004).

· JSC MSZ has been applying COSHMS since 2011.

· JSC MSZ has been applying CEnMS since 2014.

ISO 50001 standard’s objective is to provide companies with a well-defined and comprehensive guide to optimise consumption of energy resources and to manage this consumption in a systematic manner.

The standard has been established with the purpose to specify the generally recognised diagram to integrate energy conservation into the organisations’ management practices. It is oriented towards helping the organisations to utilize their existing energy-consuming assets efficiently, creating transparency in the matters related to energy resources management, promoting best practices of energy management and maintaining potential for evaluation and determination of the priorities to implement new energy-saving technologies.

Currently JSC MSZ its certified as per the CIMS ascertaining its compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 50001:2018 №№ TIC 15 100 52672/1, TIC 15 104 10699/1, TIC 15 118 20242/1, TIC 15 275 14075/1, correspondingly, issued by TÜV Thüringen e.V. certifying body, valid through 27.08.2024.

Validity of the certificate is annually verified by TÜV Thüringen e.V. surveillance audits. The audits did not reveal any nonconformity that could influence the positive evaluation of the management systems’ operation.

JSC MSZ’s CIMS is applied to manufacture and supply of: FAs and their materials (not exceeding 65% U enrichment) for power reactors; core components and Control and Protection System (CPS) elements for power and research reactors.

JSC MSZ has established the environmental policy comprising the key objectives and ways to achieve them as well as environment protection obligations of JSC MSZ management. JSC MSZ’s environmental policy specifies the company’s priorities for sustainable use of natural resources and environment protection aimed at increasing competitiveness by ensuring environmentally safe and sustainable development of our company and minimising adverse environmental impact caused by nuclear fuel manufacture and operation.

JSC MSZ’s key strategic environmental objectives are as follows:
